Residencies

In a residency, I visit your school from one day up to a week or more and work with your marimba, percussion and band students. Activities usually include master classes, clinics, rehearsals, coaching percussion ensemble, and a final public performance where I perform with your students.

Crockett Elementary School in Houston Texas

Crockett Elementary is an Arts Magnet School and has a fourth and fifth grade marimba ensemble. In this video you can hear the results as we explored improvising, and learned a blues scale. One dedicated student learned a four mallet marimba solo, Yellow After the Rain!
